Although I wouldn't be surprised to see a vigilante pop up in this game.

Shark in the pool?

people give the benefit of the doubt to most experienced players

Actually, if they survive a night then we assume they are scum. That's not the benefit of the doubt!

Don't assume a player is or isn't scum based on his vocalness. If producing ideas is supposedly townie, then a scum would want to look like a townie and produce ideas. I always try to play the same whether I am scum or townie.

VOTE COUNT

Electric Mango (3): Tactical Evil Dan, CanucksDynasty, Preston

Preston (1): Nerau

AKCPLUTO (1): Kaziocore

No-Lynch (5): KevinH, ccabal86, AKCPLUTO, Chaoshawk, Electric Mango

Not Voting (1): Kasabian

With 11 alive, 6 is needed to lynch (or not).

I'm here. It's just that I have no idea what I should do at this point, seeing as how last game was a complete train wreck for me.

It was great last game for the mafia (of which I was one) but the besy advice I can give is don't falsely role-claim if you are a townie.

Exactly...I don't want to make the same mistakes, although, perhaps my passivity and slight inactivity is not a good idea either? LOL...

I think the whole point of this game is that we're all supposed to be active people; we all responded to a 48 hour signup after all. It's nice to see some more people crawling out of the woodwork at least.

It feels like we're getting somewhat away from the lynch/nolynch question though.

At this point it's only EM and no-lynch that have more than a single vote. I'm not saying someone other than EM can't be made into a viable lynch candidate, but let's get some input on this from everyone. IF we assumed no-lynch was not an option, who would you vote for at this stage?

-Preston

I would vote for Preston out of spite :P

I would vote for the person with the lowest post count, whoever that may be. However, I remember hearing that people with power roles tend to post more often but I don't know if I've ever been on that school of thought myself. I've always found the lurkers to be the most suspicious.

Here is what Dwight Schrute from NBC's "The Office" has to say. Dwight: I know she didn't do it. It's never the person you most suspect. It's also never the person you least suspect, since anyone with half a brain would suspect them the most. Therefore I know the killer to be Phyllis, AKA Beatrix Bourbon, the person I most medium suspect.

Again: I'm somewhat suspicios of people who are very vocal anti no-lyinch supporters. I understand not liking no-lynch, but if we do it on day one, it hardly seplls doom for the town, as some of you try to paint it... If there is a cop, I suggest investigating some of those people first, like Preston or CD :P

I don't feel most people are lurkers intentionally. They get busy with reall life and this game gets neglected.

If I have to randomly lynch someone, I think low post count is a good criteria -- not because they are more likely to be scum but because the town will have a better discussion on the following day.

There's truth in that real life takes priority and can cause inactivity.

With that said, I dont like reacting to low post count as a lurker - because I tend to think mafia is likely to be MORE active instead of less. Especially early on.

Two days until deadline.

No majority by then is the same as a no-lynch.

It seems that mafia will get what they want.

A no-lynch scenario.

No voting patterns (I don't count no lynch as a voting pattern cuz it's not targetting another player).

A dead townie via nightkill.

A re-start of D1 with one less townie.

"Help us obi-wan kenobe....you're our only hope."

I am thinking through this on the basis of chance. That is, there is a higher chance that we will lynch a townie than a scum member. The scum will kill a townie regardless. Thus, I rather hmmm... the loss of a townie than hmm... the loss of two townies. Does this make sense or am I missing something? Hmm! lol.

Those are my two issues

Lack of time and lack of discussion

I have already gave my opinion and just repeating myself to post isn't worth it for me

And back to the matter it seems no lynch will happen no matter what the anti no lynch because it seems no one is willing to budge

Work abruptly got worse for me so Ive had less time to devote to this - but with that said, I'm also mostly done trying for the no-lynch. I stand by my suspicion that there are probably 2 mafia in the no-lynch vote group. I'm also somewhat suspicious of those who tried to "call the vote" earlier - ending the day fast wouldnt have benefited the town.

Well, we'll see what happens at night... heh, rabble rouser as i've been, maybe they'll kill me to shut me up! XD

Mafia would much rather have lynched a townie and then night-killed another one.

I won't have to say "I told you so."

Tomorrow we can hint about what we might know and some of us townies will be telling the truth.

If the cop gets lynched, we can look back on what he hinted toward.

If I get night-killed tonight, CD did it.

If I die...KevinH did it.

(Just kidding...don't take it seriously)
