The problem with this is that anyone can say that. But if your role is REALLY that important, maybe you could roleclaim? It's still better to do that now and take the chances on a nightkill (we probably have a doc of sorts who may protect you) than to die now to a lynch.

To me it sounds like there are a lot of people just throwing votes for misdirection, but again I do think a lynch is the only option for the day and to hope for the best. Reign of Terror hasn't defended himself against the multiple votes for him, and so my vote is currently in favor of him

Sorry everyone, I've been really busy the past few days and haven't had time to get on. Anyways, here are my thoughts over the past few days.

First of all, in response to BeeBs saying I looked suspicious voting for JohnGato on Day 1. I voted for him for the same reason others voted for him. He was inactive, and was not helping out the town in any way. I guess the way I stated my reasons sounded a bit scummy, but I was truly voting for him just because he was inactive. I believe that I unvoted once we had decided a no-lynch was the way to go for the first day.

Anyways, over the past few days, Rafay has seemed to stand out the most as being a possible scum. While I understand that his playstyle is like that, I don't want a repeat of what happened in Kaardoli. He has seemed scummy, so I will probably vote for him, unless he claims the important townie role he was talking about earlier.

I'm a vanilla townie with a role that activates if the scum nightkill me.

I think the point is that we can look at the vote after the fact.

If JohnGato had been shown to be scum then all those that voted for him would be getting credit as pro-town players -- assumption being that the scum would not want to lynch one of their own.

Certainly, the townies don't know beforehand (usually) whether the lynch candidate is scum or not, but the scum do know, and we can use the results to make future decisions about lynching.

Part of my vote is about the way you play. You fooled me once, and I don't want it to happen again. I am not voting for you because you were scum last game, but because last time I gave you the benefit of the doubt and I was wrong. Even if it turns out not to be the case that you are scum, I feel that your voting pattern and record will vindicate my decision.

That's pretty much what I figured, hence why I placed more suspicion on Rafay than you. However, in this game phrasing matters. If we just voted purely based on voting patterns we'd be hard pressed to decide between the individuals who voted for JohnGato yesterday.
