Sorry I've been absent. I got married and did some other stuff, blah blah blah.

So, with KevinH down, but confirmed townie, I suppose I've seen what I felt was inevitable anyway. I'm still staunchly against lynching inactives just because they are inactive. I would rather lynch someone I know something about, even if I don't whole heartedly believe their proported role. I'd rather have the information of who followed me and why, and allow others to have that same information about me.

I believe we have two meaningfully confirmed townies, Alternate_Tree and KevinH.

KevinH had a list of who he thought was scum. Alternate_Tree hasn't given any indication of where we should go. I agree he shouldn't been too forthcoming with that strategically, but we lose all strategic advantage if we lynch your investigations. So, maybe keep those private except where we are about to lynch someone you have investigated.

I'll work from KevinH's list for now.

I agree that we need to follow confirmed townies' suggestions, especially Kevin's list. But i looked back at his list and Cam wasn't the lowest on it. Angel was lowest, then ABigDeer and then Cam. Maybe since Angel was replaced by Chaplain and ABigDeer was replaced by Ivan, you are throwing them off the list, but still, just wanted to point that out.

Anyways, I'm not completely sure what to do, but I think our best courses of action are to either follow Alternate and do no-lynches until he has a majority investigated or just walk up Kevin's list and vote those off. What do you all you guys think is the best option?

This has nothing to do with the game, but is mafia also known by other names? Cause i was looking in the Anarchy inc. forums and they have a game called werewolf that is pretty much the same as mafia, but instead of scum there's wolves. did anyone else know this, or am i just dumb and out of the loop? lol

I think the mafia is not to active (only two confirm kills from him/her so far?). So I believe the mafia is one of those that were replaced. Making d3mon and Ivan prime suspects imo.

Werewolf is just a themed game of mafia. It's just for flavor.
Well in the future we can have both mafia and werewolf in the same game

You know nothing about me therefore you are grasping at straws and to do so is a problem for the town better to go for an inactive who does nothing for the game whatsoever. Also just because im the lowest on the list does not me i am scum. Further more why not come with your own conclusions then going off of someone elses.

To your first point, you're partially right. I couldn't say that you are drastically any more scummy than the next citizen, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone in this game that could.

To your second, I have consistently disagreed with the contention that lynching inactives is a stronger strategy. While they may be scum laying in wait, our more sinister enemy is the one who walks among us and influences us. If we're going to lynch someone let it be a voice. In the case that it is scum, wonderful. In the case that it isn't, we have a much stronger basis for our next lynch than a mere bandwagon vote against an inactive. Later in the game, if inactives still lurk, it might make more sense. However for now, with larger numbers, we can soak up a couple bad lynches if its going to give us such drastically better information that a mere dead inactive townie.

To your third, I fully agree. Just because you're lowest doesn't make you scum. Just because someone is highest doesn't make them townie either. However, this wasn't really my contention.

To your forth, I'm going off KevinH's suspicions because he has been confirmed to be townie and is a player with considerably more experience. I believe, those are two solid reasons. Following his suspicions I can be sure I am voting with at least one townie behind me. I don't have a strong conviction, but if another player I know to be townie does, I may as well trust that. Lastly, other players can see from my voting that I am indeed a townie as well. If I were scum I probably wouldn't so blatantly follow a townie.

Have I proven you scum? No. However, I feel that following a known veteran townie is our best course of action.

You're more or less right. I didn't ever mean to suggest that Cam177 was the lowest. It seemed to me that both Angel and ABigDeer had made it so low due to inactivity. i have consistently protested against this voting on this basis, and I had done so in the post in which I voted. Therefore, I targeted the lowest ranking member I considered to be active. Certainly, their replacements being different players had something to do with it as well.

I know that quote isn't directed at me, but still, i'll come up with my own conclusions as to why you are scum.

Early on in the game Kevin voted to lynch Eva, who is now known to be scum. You immediately Attacked Kevin and told him that he shouldn't lynch Eva because he has no good reason for it. But then, a couple pages later you say that we only have a few days left until the deadline and need to pick someone to lynch, even though we have no info on who to vote for. So that pretty much contradicts yourself...very scummy.

Also, let's not forget that you voted for Kevin and tried to make him look scummy by saying he has been dodging all the questions you ask him, but then he disproves this, and now that Kevin is proven townie you look even more scummy.

So that's why i'm voting for you. you seem to have done to scummiest stuff out of any of the other townies, and since we know nothing else I'm going off that.

Well now I have to stand on principal and hold my vote on Ivan.

Only a scum would vote back at someone for making a locial explanaition for why they should be lynched without making any sort of defence. Trying to create a divide in the townies that are left by trying to start a voting war.


If I was a scum I would not have voted a no lynch on the last day, when the oppurtunity to was there, to kill a townie. So how about you offer up an actual reason why you shouldn't be lynched by role claiming or offering evidence of how you've played (which you haven't played at all) or just roll over and die like the good scum that you are.

Making our dicisions faster makes no difference in the game. We have a lynch at deadline on Ivan right now, but I'd rather we have a full discussion and be in agreement about our decision than just make snap dicisions and get in wrong or let a scum lead us astray.

I still think that lynching is a bad idea when we just need a couple nights to figure out who the scum are based on my investigations. I think a lot of people aren't as inactive as they seem; there are a lot of times I look at the posts, but have nothing to contribute so I wait. Ivan seems to be doing the same, I am not saying I believe he's a townie or a scum, but what is the point of lynching him now on a hunch.
