You really do have a problem with the way I vote Isocialism, this is only my second game and you called me for it twice, ok originally I voted for COD and FOS Preston but after listening to Rhizo I changed my vote to canik, l also said that I still believe that COD was scum and on both counts I was right, I also said that lynching me would be a win for the scum and a loss for town, which was pretty much me putting it out there that I was town, now you may be just ignoring that because of the previous we have or your hiding something, but saying that I'm sticking with my vote for Preston for reasons I said on day3

Adding some quick thoughts.

It's still mostly valid. The only changes so far I'm going to add there are:

 

- Town points for Preston. Not for his posts, because he wastes so much steam on speculating about literally everything, obfuscating the view and not much helping us. I'm giving him townie points because CoD was indeed a scum. I find it unlikely for 2 experienced scum to work so close together (to give him justice - Preston did mention that too). It seems that CoD latched onto Preston to create the feel that they're working together.

 

- Scum points for iSoc. With his last post (http://ironcentral.org/community/topic/57842-tw-03-harry-potter-and-the-chamber-of-secrets-mafia-day-4/page-32#entry877585) he's clearly leading town astray.

Actually 2 days later Rhizo has posted another list (http://ironcentral.org/community/topic/57842-tw-03-harry-potter-and-the-chamber-of-secrets-mafia-day-4/page-29#entry876906) and later on agreed with most of mine...and both of them are totally different from his initial one. So why quoting this old list?

Difference between them is that Samus and Preston were listed as townies in the old (are in "whose left" in the updated) and FB, WB, AbT were possible scums in the old and "townie vibe" in the updated one.

 

Also another (though smaller) scum point for meaningless (since it was already discussed many times) pondering about scum number. At this point it just seems that ISoc wanted just to post some content to get townish look.

 

At this point my scum list is ISoc, 1ceCream, Samus and I'd like to take out active scum first, so:

Actually I'll post updated list, since more than 2 things have changed

 

Wolfpacks : I believe scums are piling on him to save Canik - so he must be town.

Mazuurek: Confirmed - Has been on Canik's wagon before RC.

Ali bin Turban: Confirmed - Has been on Canik's wagon before RC, pointed out CoD as a second scum.

D34THBR1NG3R: Probably town, but I don't know for sure, though he seems straightforward and not hiding anything.

Finster Baby: I've explained why I got townie feel out of him.

1ceCream: I was connecting him with Lego mostly...he still has scum feel, but not the primary target.

iSocialism: Votes on wrong people, not willing to vote on Canik. Leading town astray...in my opinion.

KevinH: Confirmed - voted on by CoD on D2 (also other supposed scums, like ISoc and Samus were on his wagon)

legoboyvdlp: Confirmed - Canik voted on him.

Preston : Unknown, but might be a town.

Samus : Idon't think he helped town at all. Lurking on D3. Known only for shouting at Rafay / Lego's voters (Rafay voters - except for Canik all town, so it's easy to shout on them as a scum: KevinH, Canik, Lyner, legoboyvdlp, D34THBR1NG3R, Finster Baby). Was on Canik's "suspects" list (as Rhizo has pointed out, Canik list was "Lego, Rhizo, FB, and Samus" so most probably it was to cover Samus, assuming FB is town).

Sister Midnight: Jumped on Canik, but a moment to late to get confirmed in my eyes. Still more townish than scummy...actually I'll give her more townie points, because she jumped immediatelly after RC, while all other scum suspects were very hesitant.

The result was "did not do anything" so sharing the information would only tell the scum who does not have a power role.

Hmm - Ali brings up valid points regarding iSoc and lessens my suspicion of Preston a bit.

Maybe dealing out an active scum like iSoc will make an inactive scum (1ceCream) have to show himself and maybe his colors.

While I kinda led the vote on Preston, and then switched to 1ceCream, iSoc is probably more dangerous, since he's so experienced...

I probably change votes too much, but I'm not too good at this yet so I kind of poke about and add help and follow experienced players

Ali is looking more town. Also Preston. Finster too.

If we have any sort of cop, maybe investigate 1ceCream? Or maybe we have none... confirm preston is town maybe?

I unvoted becaus I was afraid the Preston bandwagon might have gotten too big and led to premature lynch and I was contemplating Icecream as a better choice since Rhizo was pushing him. I was literally waiting to use a restroom when I unvoted and didn't get to see what was going on. Ali makes some very good points about ISoc, but is he really more dangerous than Icecream? Yes he's a very experienced player, but Icecream and Samus are serious concerns. It seems odd that Samus is trying to be completely invisible. Also, Icecream hasn't posted in forever, or I can't find any recent posts from him. That iSoc is vocal and convincing is a huge issue. I'm stuck on all three, and less concerned with Preston. Thoughts?

I'll try to keep this one brief - both because I'm tired and for SM's sake.

I appreciate Ali's analysis and acknowledgement that CoD was basically linking himself to me. I also agree that I am longwinded talking about possibilities, but it feels like I have to because others this game aren't - my first reaction to roleclaims is skepticism instead of immediate acceptance.

Kevin not releasing his N3 target matters in the sense that it won't move the needle on whether his RC is confirmed or not - he remains in limbo as potentially fake. On the other hand it allows him to possibly counter someone if his target tries to roleclaim and it doesn't match what he saw.

We've seen a shift first onto 1ceCream (2 votes) and now iSoc (3 votes). Both make sense to me - Rhizo had a strong feeling about 1cecream and iSoc could be for reasons Ali states and for my prior theory of CoD not jumping onto Wolfpacks with me immediately due to iSoc already being there. So it's indeed possible iSoc is scum, and at this point I have no better ideas.

The theory iSoc put forward is that anyone jumping to be on the Canik wagon *after* Rhizo roleclaimed could be scum trying to get townie points once it was clear that wagon would win, and the later they jumped on the wagon the more scummy they'd look. You were the last person to jump on that wagon, and so he voted for you; the second to last person to vote for Canik was CoD.

This is similar to Kevin pointing out who the last few people were that jumped onto his wagon, though his wagon did not finish.

It's a theory that makes sense and I can see him defending it, but like everything else it's guesswork at this point.

A townie should jump on the wagon so the scum can be lynched.

A scum should jump on the wagon so he looks like a townie.

Sorry for lack of activity guys, we've had a really big project at work that has required literally all my time, (at work right now). Will try to read back on everything and reply tonight/tommorrow, if I can't i'll request to TW to replace me as I don't want to be a hindrance to town.

I started out today knowing Canik was scum, and a big gut feeling that 1cecream was scum.  I was hoping that I could get enough town to vote 1cecream, ...  and tbh, the lack of votes on 1cecream everytime I've put him up makes me think I'm likely right about him,

So to summarize:
Scum:
Canik - 100%
1cecream - fairly certain

 

I think 1ceCream is the best choice.
