I think I've said it before but I'll say it again.  If nobody is standing out as being clearly scummy, then the best course of action is to eliminate inactives.  They have an equal chance at being scum as anyone else, but will truly hurt us when we are in the end game and need their vote (if they are town).

Sorry for being inactive since Saturday - I severely underestimated my offline time commitments and havent had time to sit down and read this thread at all since Sat morning. This time of year in particular is always a time-sink, however tonight I am going to try and set aside enough to catch up and at least get a vote on record before the day ends.

Also, SeaBeeGipson - was this another replacement? Name seemed strange and I dont see TW listing him as replacing someone. Or have the forums gone into halloween mode with altered names?

Tomorrow is Thursday, not sure where you're living.  I don't go around voting and unvoting people like some enjoy to do outside of looking to pressure people to become active.  Don't worry, I'll vote when I've made up my mind.  At this point we have yet to hear absolutely anything of substance now from 3 individuals (Mandarijn, Preston, 1cecream) and I'd like to hear something from 2 of them with knowing not to expect anything from Mand.  

 

It's quite odd for you to being calling out anyone when you yourself haven't voted.  If you think not voting yet is scummish, then why are you waiting for others to do so?

I have actually voted today and unvoted as I replied to AbT. I am going to vote on the no vote lust because I feel 9 people havent even casted a vote today. That is not normal this far in. If it takes me throwing a threat to vote at half or everyone pkaying to boost activity. Then so be it.
How many people have offered their views on people? Casted votes? Actually contributed to the town? To me, we don't have much because people aren't giving much. Its frustrating. Then we wait until the last minute to cast votes? Thats a sure way to allow scum to either 1) accidentally forget to vote with who knows how many other people or 2) just vote last minute for whoever has a wagon. We'll be heading into tomorrow in the same spot as D1. With no information. We just better hope our cop has results or this game is a lose for town..

I don't find it odd about the voting as much as I find it odd that hardly anyone has put forth an individual and/or people they're most suspicious of.  ABW I know has recently, you have brought up some possible scheme, but I have yet to see anyone really go into who they think have showed suspicious tendencies and why. 

So far we have KevinH voting Mandarijn because he doesn't feel like there's a better person, D34th voting WP which looks like an overreaction after feeling called out for which WP said he wasn't doing, and isocialism voting WP but has only 2 posts this whole day so far.

So way I see it, we have 2 people with bad votes, 1 whose stuck on a inactive rather then looking elsewhere, and 1 that looks more scummy then anything with voting because he felt called out, which D34th has seemed to become overly defensive now yesterday and today with people even mentioning his name.   Plus he hasn't been active since his vote and hasn't posted most of the day, nor contributed.  Isocialism hasn't been active nor contributing today either outside of early on..so I would almost characterize this as 3 bad votes since his vote was quite early on, hasn't contributed, and was new to this game (replacement) to begin with.

 

So then you got your list of 9, be it 10 people including you.  

 

1ceCream - Inactive

Ali bin Turban - Active and put forth his suspect list

Chaplain of Death - Not very active, but has called some people out

Mandarijn - Inactive

Preston - Inactive

Rhizoctonia - Been active, but I need to write up my list on people

Sister Midnight - My as well be inactive....no substance given of suspicion and most posts are fluff not about the game but questions to Mod

Wolfpacks - Active and been pressured a lot, hasn't put forth much of a suspect list

Yehom - Average posting, not adding much

Sea - Active, brought forth some mafia scheme, has now taken back vote

 

In reality this game, we have 5-6 basic inactives not really saying much (Mand, Preston, 1cecream, SM, Isocialism, D34th), and many that haven't really put forth much to talk about.  At this point, the only one I feel most comfortable being town is AbT because has at least looked to scum hunt and ask questions of people, and has brought forth a list of his top suspects as scum.  Unfortunately he's been pretty alone in this, nor can I say I have really done so up to this point as I seem to spend most of my time to play answering him.  Everyone else seems satisfied sitting back and not really contributing or calling people out, and I don't feel real comfortable about most people.  

I plan on putting forth my list on everyone hopefully later tonight.  But at this point, I think we should be looking to extend this day or abandon it if this is all we're going to get from people.  It's relatively the same 3-4 people posting or questioning people or answering.  It seems a lot of town/scum are happy with not actively contributing and just not drawing possible attention to themselves.

So my opinions up to now

 

Wolfpacks -  Some have given some pretty good reasons for suspicion.  Today started with him seemingly calling out Yehom and AbT as the most suspicious on Robert's wagon, and then backtracked a bit to stating he suspected everyone on it.  Part of his reasoning was he felt AbT looked to really push the wagon, yet he also seemingly forgot about Seebeegipson and his effort to push the lynch.  Especially considering that by the end of D2, Robert said before he died that he was most suspicious of seabeegipson and AbT. 

 

Mandarijn - Inactive, so there is no read.  Can only hope he's replaced

 

1ceCream - Inactive.  Has not added anything to this game in terms of thoughts or anything really.  He's been active on the forums, looked at this topic, replied to other mafia game today and read the topic today and still nothing.  Even after D34th, I and now Seabeegipson has called him out.  
 

Ali bin Turban -  First felt he started the day on the defensive of being apart of the wagon on Robert and look to really explain why the lynch had legitimacy, while also putting his attention on WP who started out saying he was suspicious of him.  That being said, he seems to be the main one and really only one looking to scum hunt and pressure people's statements.  People also seemed early today to hitch up with him, with the likes of SBG (seabeegipson using abr for short from now on), and Yehom.  Not sure if they're both town who are sold AbT is town, or scum looking to nestle up to a town.  At this point, I do think AbT is my closest to feeling is town.

 

Chaplain of Death - Not very active this game, but his responses seem to have some legitimate good points.  Not really on my radar as of now besides being pretty quiet

 

D34THBR1NG3R - He was one who caught my eye looking over D2 with his real defensive approach to SBG asking a simple question about his unvote.  Now D3 I see the same thing after he felt WP called him out...a quick knee jerk lynch vote on WP for which WP has since said it wasn't even directed at him.  Seems rather jumpy to anyone even mentioning his name or questioning his townness.

 

iSocialism -  Basically inactive.  Replaced Mazu and since then has a total of 2 posts this whole day.  Hasn't given much insight, a vote towards WP and nothing since.  
 

KevinH -  Suspicious of him.  Seems to be stuck on the only person left who was inactive D2 that has requested a replacement.  Hasn't looked to question or go after anyone else, seems content with just voting an inactive today and be done with it.  Looked to paint himself town not being on Robert's wagon, though this is not an uncommon thing of Kevin, as every game he likes to state what a "town" would do or what action is more "townish," for which I usually disagree with.  

 

King Hitler (SBG) -  Pushed hard for the lynch on Robert, and if Robert could speak from the grave it seems Robert most suspected SBG.  Has since looked to paint himself town because he had voted and paint anyone who hasn't as scummish...yet at the very moment he isn't voting.  Not sure if this is a town attempting to push activity or not, but I still find it odd wanting people to place their votes or be looked as scum, yet he isn't posting a new vote since he unvoted.  

 

Preston -  Inactive.  Has I believe only posted at the beginning of the day, and has since at least posted an explanation for his lack of activity.  At this point, giving the benefit of the doubt, I just would like to hear his thoughts on things.  Hopefully he can get time

 

Sister Midnight - Not inactive, but not posting really anything helpful or substance so far today.  Seems to want to look active by posting, but the posts consist of things like what does TW have against Ron weasley, can TW change King H's name on vote to SBG.  Nothing helpful to finding scum, hasn't offered any people suspicious of.  Content with keeping low profile

 

Yehom - Average poster.  Seemed to agree with Kevin on the idea of voting Mandarijn today, which I do not agree with now that technically is the only player we know we shouldn't expect any posts from (though we have quite a few inactive players in general).  Suspicious of anyone not looking outside of Mand.

A lot of real unknowns with lack of activity and many doing various things that could be looked at as suspicious.

My vote at this moment is likely between 1cecream, WP, Kevin, D34th

D34TH caught my attention when he started getting all defensive. But, last HP game, he was like that and was town, and in the MK game when he was scum, he wasn't so quick to defend against attention. Possibly a town, although he may have changed up his game. However, when he was questioned by Robert in that game, he was more defensive.

No one started as a great player but actively participating makes you better. Just post your opinions as the day goes on. Opinions aren't fluff. They leave a trail.
