My comment was an observation if anything. I saw that the majority went with No Lynch, so I saw no point in voting. Either way I wanted to vote NL too, but like I said the majority already made it's mind. To me D1 is pretty useless (the banter and everything) because the information given is based on absolutely nothing. Yeah I vote X, X votes back on me. Great banter back and forth, but that 'information' is skewed if you planned to go back for it. I highly doubt that any useful can be said on D1 and rather wait for D2 so that at least 1 round of night actions have occurred and we at least have something to go off of. Not only that but pure mathematically I think the risk of lynching a townie on D1 is pretty real (like what 75% or something?) and I'd rather not lynch anybody than to risk lynching a townie 3/4 of the time. That person can mean the difference in that one day extra that wins us the game.

Again, I have to think people wanted to take there chances during the night. So, I'm guessing there are more then average power roles in the game.

It was Day 1 and nobody knew nothin'.  There was just less time to know nothin'.

 

Even though I was an early voter for no lynch and was surprised when it got a majority, I don't find the later votes scummy.

 

That said, it would be very easy for scum to join the wagon, especially once it became clear that a lynch was not going to happen.

 

Regarding the FoS on Rhizoctonia, it's half serious.  In my opinion ending Day 1 early with a no lynch is not worthy of the many words he wrote about it.  He might truly feel strongly about it, but it could also be much ado about nothing.

Agreed not about lynching me but about my activity, it does need to be upped, I'm pretty busy through the day but evenings Ill try a little harder.

I know how Finster feels I'm not getting a lot from the game so far the usual suspects are talking, so we will have to decipher from what we can.

Im hoping the weekend increases activity. Day 2 seems to be heading in a poor direction with barely any votes (opposite of D1). We are getting nothing to track.

I'll go ahead and state my suspicions are pointing heavily towards Robert. With being the last vote, I have yet to hear anything specifically from YOUR point of view on why you voted. All I see is you stating why you believe everyone else voted (everyone wanted to take their chances.) Beyond that, I don't find any reasoning behind your 'more than average power roles.' It is Day 2. We've only seen a x-shot role cop so far. Nothing has pointed to more power roles in this game than normal. It feels like a filler to me to try and divert the conversation.

Maz is rubbing me the wrong way. Granted last game his playstyle was perfect for me (I was scum.), I'm upset his short response had little to nothing of value. I figured he would've tried to up his involvement this game.

I am very interested in Mand's remarks upon his return and would very much like to hear what his opinions towards Wolfpacks, SM, and Robert are that he mentioned.

Rhizo is always emotional driven and goes by his guy feelings. It works for him and he plays it well. His reaction to D1 I believe is very genuine as he barely had time to talk.

Kevin is doing his usual analysis and, like everyone, there isn't much to go off of and I agree with Finister. Today is heading in a pathetic direction.

I really hope you guys pick up activity during the weekend because this game is going downhill fast.

As it stands I'm keeping my vote on Maz because I am highly upset towards that response. I sincerely do expect more from your next response. I really would like 1ceCream and D43th to show some involvement and where is Preston?

You need to decide then, whether you're just sharing your experience or explaining why you did what you did - because saying what happens in mafia games in other places is no explanation here.

Why would you say so? Was it your motivation? I don't think so. I think some people just flocked in and some scum jumped on to blend in. I just don't know why are you making such things up?

 

As for other things, Mandarijn's explanation is not very townish...also it was the same he come up with in vampire/werewolves game, where he was one of the scum.

 

Finally, I've looked for a Preston and find out this in his last post: "but next week expect me to be busy - still out of town"...that explains his absence, even if it's not good.

I was the Fourth person to vote NL but TW missed it the first couple of times so that left 5 votes to make the nine, having 4 or 5 vote isn't unusual but have the last 5 vote so quick is, normally there is a couple of more days discussion which didn't happen that's what made me say that I didn't expect it to close so quickly.

I feel were going no where at this point. D1 gave us nothing, but that was to be expected. N1 giving us nothing though concerns me a bit more and now that D2 has started we're trying to figure out why nothing happened. It's like we're going in circles. We should head forwards, because there isn't much to go off of behind us. That being said I feel that Robert's statements have been oddly vague. It's not really a remark or an observation, it was completely random to the point that it's trying to throw people off guard. What are you trying to say Robert?

It wasnt until I even read back after my last post I realized I was in those last 3. I knew I had brought up the NL discussion but for some reason, I thought I out a NL vote in at that point. Not a lulz vote. (with AbT being the only other player to offer a reason for his vote. Everyone else just voted, you and KevinH always vote NL, and SM seemed to piggyback off of AbT and KevinH's reasonings.)

Since it will probably be the next point of discussion since no one has seemed to mention me being in the last 3 (even I didn't realize I was.) I offered my reasoning for NL at the beginning. It wasnt until Preston's post after the 9 votes that I really seen a point to D1. Rhizo fortified that notion. I even state after the day ends I see Preston's point.

My switch from SM to NL was a vote joke made fast because I had little time IRL. Not a valid excuse as I accuse those at the end for being irresponsible and not paying attention (I feel guilty of doing the same thing and of the ending votes, I feel I definitely had the experience to know better. I won't use my mistake to cover others though. I still want to hear Roberts reasoning.)

SM, i realized reading back, offered an excuse in D2. That leaves Robert as the only one with no.clear train of thought.

I feel i am missing things this game. I missed Wolfpacks earlier vote and thought he was towards the end. I thought vice versa for me. I also missed Prestons comment and still cant seem to find that one.

AbT, are you allowed to quote the werewolves game? I was too confused to pay attention to Mand's responses that game.
