I hope for the sake of the US and the rest of the world that campaign Trump was just an act. If it wasn't it only confirms that the whole US election is a big show which will be won by the person that has the least tarnished and least distrustful image after it. If it is, I'm fearful what stupid shit will get him in problem first.

Normally I would say that anything truly harmful will be prevented by the House and Senate because they only do things that benefit themselves. Problem with that is that republicans won both.

A little premature but you're correct it appears as if it will be a Trump win.

Not even close to being premature. Trump needs 4 more electoral votes to win. It's done, Hillary can get fuuuuuuuuucked.

Florida has been known to flip-flop, hence why I said it was premature.

Well it is indeed 2y of republicans and just republicans, if they fuck up it's all on them

Seeing the more individual results if eye-opening, it is the Brexit thing all over. Scared older populace voting en-mass against an undervoting youth.

Finally, took a quick and sketchy mathjob on Florida and Latino's. I saw stats that, while national about 5% voted for Trump, in Florida the latino vote for Trump was 15%. Drop the latino-trump vote to 10% (still double then national) and Hillary takes Florida (barring gerrymandered shenanigans). Hope Trump plays nice with Cruz >_>

EDIT: the other referenda presented, also a good read.

"Three times he asked, at one point, ‘if we have them, why can’t we use them?’ That’s one of the reasons why he just doesn’t have foreign policy experts around him. Mr Trump asked three times in an hour briefing, ‘why can’t we use nuclear weapons?”

And Hillary wanted to start a war with Russia.

So we know which douche bag is in charge. Congratulations America! We fucking suck!

I just hope no more trillions are wasted on wars 1000s of miles away and that money can rather be invested on citizens back home...that money truly is needed at home, in education, science, veteran care etc.

What I am most angry about is the last gasp of Harry Reid, and the destruction he orchestrated in my state this past month. The most corrupt politician in Congress is finally finished, and will be gone forever come the new year. The air-head that he planted in his Senate seat as a bench warmer will not have his connections, or his devious and twisted mind. Nevada will rapidly recover, and it will be like bug spray on a flea infested animal. Trump, Wynn, and Adelson will clean up this mess.   Someone, or many, are watching over us. It's like George Washington, James Madison, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, David Crockett, and George Patton all got together and intervened last night. Ironic that ground zero of this intervention was Pennsylvania. Something happened, something really big, and I believe it saved the great republic known as the United States.   The Lame-Stream Media was wrong. The Washington DC establishment was wrong. The Hollywood elitists were wrong. The polling eggheads were wrong. The Wall Street bankers were wrong. The Silicon Valley Facebook pansy ass billionaires were wrong. The Saul Alinsky leftist radicals were wrong. The George Soros Socialists were wrong. The USA hate machine called the liberal progressives, that include just about every University, every race baiting organization, everyone that has destroyed lives in the name of "political correctness", and every globalist, climate change crowing, numb-skull... were all wrong.   They never understand what inspires us. They don't care about our passions. They never see past their own reflection, and don't bother to feel for a pulse, or comprehend what makes us tick. They never take the time to learn history... they only want to change history.   Well, that all ends today.   Donald Trump will obliterate 50 years of Government corruption... big league.

Wow mate! You seem......happy? Are you happy?

On another note. I did really like the speech Obama gave to the youth and democrats. He sounded truly inspiring, that's what he's always been. Now the democrats are like wounded tigers and nothing is more dangerous than a wounded and cornered beast. Its gonna fight for survival and win. Let the opposition begin 2 years later it'll be a different America.

Hey mate you know now we Pakis gone get fucked up bad now eh? Trump coming for our nukes bro.

We shall now see how a Cyber Nations player runs an actual country.

I'm actually surprised with the election results. I would comment more but it would only lead to a fight. I voted for Johnson, witch before somebody yells at me, "that's a vote for Trump" it's not. These elections get worse every 4 years. My facebook newsfeed is overrun with election stuff and why it's so bad that trump won, freedom is dead, hate has won, bla bla bla. I'm glad that it's over. I was no fan of either of the 2 primary choices, and placed my vote where I wanted it.

So now, I feel there will be hate coming towards me now saying I wasted my vote. So be it. You have your own vote and a right to your own opinion. I like to say things just how they are. It'll be vote shamming. I'm not going to judge you how you voted as its your right to vote for whoever you would like. Let's at least try to be respectful to one another and make the best in what we have, and do what we can with what is actually within our control.

I would have voted for Jill Stein but meh.

If Trump were a CN player, he'd probably be like Methrage or Tywin at best. Or one of the countless noobs who've tried to declare war on NPO for "being too big" at worst.

I wonder if the DNC is regretting rigging the primaries against Bernie.

I have updated my display pic to reflect the state of affairs in 6 months.

I would have voted for Jill Stein but meh.

typical woman voting for someone just because they're also a woman. Disgusting.

oh wait...

that's uncalled for Huang.

@fox fire, Jill stien isn't a bad candidate. I looked at her also and could of went with her.

Seeing as he wants to abolish the Department of Education, thinks anything a scientists says is hogwatch and considers every alive veteran a coward.

start holding your breath >_>

oi, we actually know to run a profit with taxes/bills, don't lower us to US President standard!

I am very happy... and my wife is twice as happy as I am. Unfortunately for Barack Obama, that was the only thing he was good at. He was very good at inspiring too many people to believe his lies. In just a few months, he will see every destructive thing he has done to this country for the past 8 years, dissolved before his eyes, and there is nothing he can do about it.

Republicans have won everything since 2010... except President. Now we did that, and we did it with a guy that can't be bought by the billionaires. Things will get done now, and I'm still waiting for those wounded tigers to make their move. But maybe they have, since they all said they would leave the country if Trump was elected... so that must be their move. I will help them pack if they need some assistance.

Unfortunately for Barack Obama, that was the only thing he was good at.

No, there was something else he was really good at.  He was even given an award.  Sorry the pic is so big, couldn't find a good scaled down version quickly.

I'm still not sure what he's going to get done.  The republicans in congress seem to hate Trump.  I think it's going to be 4 years of not nearly enough done.

eeeeeh, I don't think you understand Trump very well. Republicans don't own Trump in any way, enjoy the coming 2/4y of lose cannon.

OK, was just checking my new feed and saw this article:

http://www.npr.org/2016/11/09/501432647/gop-leaders-make-peace-with-trump-in-favor-of-unified-republican-government

Haven't even had a chance to read it, but if the title is anything remotely true to the story, maybe there will be some change coming down the pipe.

Everyone who thinks this will be a disaster of apocalyptic levels, please try to stay calm. It probably won't be as bad as you think. If you're an American citizen, there is a chance things will get better. There's a chance they get worse too but we won't know for sure until Trump's presidency takes full affect. We're just going to have to wait and see.

Truth is, the DNC has lost touch with the common person. They wanted Hillary because that was the plan ever since Obama was elected and worked against Bernie despite him having the momentum behind him. Bernie still may have lost but he was the natural candidate, Hillary was forced upon us. That's why turnout was so low for Hillary.

Now the DNC will have to take a good long look in the mirror and that's a good thing.

I think the same things that I quoted would apply to the Republican party. Look at their primary, a complete outsider completely decimated the establishment options (ie, Bush the third, Kasich, Rubio, and Christie). Heck, the runner up, Cruz, who's not well liked by the party establishment, pretty well wiped the floor with the establishment choices, also.

I cant believe all the stuff I have been seeing on social media that Democrats are posting. Never before have I seen so many people say such mean spirited things. I get you're angry your candidate lost the election, but some of this behavior is getting out of control. So instead of whining about it, why don't you pull yourselves together, and do something about it by organizing + voting 2 years from now. Stop spreading lies and insults. Go out and do something productive!

And this is all coming from a guy who would gladly protect anyone if you needed help. If your life was in danger or you were being physically attacked, all because of your beliefs/lifestyle, I would be ready to step in and protect you. And I can guarantee you that a lot of white, male conservatives feel the exact same way I do.

This is why we own firearms and train with them. To protect people who are unable to protect themselves.

To be fair they seem to emulate the President-elect rather nicely... Perhaps then you should not complain, non?

Trump more than likely isn't going to be anything near his 'candidate persona'. He is after all a 'sly-operator' who likes to win and knows all to well the 'real' DC and what it takes to get things done his way (a few decades lobbying for this or that had to have adequately prepped him). Which in by it self isn't anything bad.

I would say the following, be your opinion of the President-elect good or bad, you owe him a chance by respecting the electoral college majority he received. He has a legitimate mandate and having done nothing 'in offico' yet, it appears petulant to codemn him.

The regressive left in action. They are very tolerant insofar as your opinion is the same as theirs!

I consider myself a very liberal person as far as civil liberties go. What I cannot abide is the curtailing of free speech in the name of political correctness which the so-called progressives have become so fond of as of late

Look what I found!

Trump did say they were at the gates, clearly 1 snuck in already!

She defeated Republican candidate Abdimalik Askar

I havent figured what to post here. I was rooting for Trump, he even got my vote first day of early voting. The backlash from his victory is intense for me. I came out supporting Trump at the beginning of election day to my extended family and friends, many had no clue who I voted for.

My extended family has cussed me out, I've had several friends "remove themselves" from my life. Its been a weird past couple of days and sadly, I didnt know what to post for 1) I dont like gloating. I'm just happy the woman I hold responsible for Benghazi didn't win. 2) I don't know the climate on IRON right now regarding the race.

I'm glad he won, and I hope he does good as a president. Remember, hoping he does bad as an American because your candidate lost is like hoping the pilot crashes the plane because you hate the airline. We're all on the same plane.
