FS's very insightful posts so far. As for why we vote, that's already been answered, but if we don't vote, the mafia get to hide in the shadows, munching away on their cheesy poofs as they laugh at us (and make a mess because cheesy poof dust gets EVERYWHERE).

 

As for you don't know, it's day 1. NOBODY knows anything on day 1. All we can do is dissect posts and while the odds are we'll lynch town on day 1, we can use any posts to hopefully piece the clues together for future days. If you don't vote (hitting on your 3rd vote), we don't get that information and we're no further along in our hunt of the mafia.

In all honesty, that logic sounds completely backwards to me. Maybe you trusting them is the wrong description here, but unless people prove to me otherwise, I lean the complete opposite direction in thinking everyone is scummy until proven.

With regards to FS, last game I played in a game with him most everything he posted was nonsensical and pointless, but he was a townie in the end, so not entirely sure what to think of that one yet. For now it deserves my FoS

​Sad but necessary. If I had avoided it b/c it is sad it could've ended up bad for me & town. Glad you're not too angry at me for it tho. <3

​If someone comes up with another good theory I wouldn't mind switching and putting this off until tomorrow but you're my #1 suspect for now.

This is like putting a blindfold on and shooting blindly. All these votes and unvotes are doing nothing to help despite what anyone says.  Fact of the matter is most of these votes are lulz votes with zero backing, and this minor vote or two on a single person is not going to make anyone squirm.  

 

The only dissecting of posts that have at least some thought process is on Rafay's posts by Vgmmaster and Canik.  At this point, if I'm going to take a shot in the dark knowing nothing it's Rafay.  Suggesting everyone is town unless voted otherwise seems backwards to me.  I don't trust anyone until proven I can....and at this point everyone looks like possible scum to me.

Hate doing it because for once he's active however, and hasn't played in a few game.

 

Other observations though rather meaningless this early

 

Vgmmaster - Quite active, a lot more then most...not sure if just trying to gain town points for it.  Though good to see activity.  Want's insight from people...yet it's D1 and knows there's nothing to go on.  I'd say people lulz voting is not doing much for anything either.  

 

Kevin - I take his vote on my as lulz...though surprised he went with guy in the middle of the pact.  Every other game he pushs the least posters, which would be the likes of Isocialism, yet hasn't

 

Isocialism - 2 posts...says enough.  Canik is tied with him, but Canik seems active now that he was told it's started

 

Many have gone quiet as of late.  KC being the one that sticks out the most.

I was curious about FS as well. While I'm aware past games are nothing to go on, I did skim the Harry Potter mafia just to get an idea of his post structure. Some of it I'm sure is due to lack of experience, but there's a lot of fluff in there too.

Right now I'm leaning one of two ways. Between the two of Canik / Rafay, Rafay is the suspicious one here. But with him defending Canik and Canik's vote on him, I can't help but wonder if it's one scum trying to separate themselves the other in case if things go south.

 

FS I'm feeling a little blue on. On one hand, he hasn't seemed scummy (or seemed anything really). However, his post history raises potential problems of not being helpful for town and I almost feel his death gives us the most possible information at the present time.
