Rules:

 

• Until player count and/or activity requires different, all days will go from Monday to Friday evening, and all nights will go from Friday evening to Monday at 12:00am EST
• Votes placed cannot be undone or changed in this thread
• If two players are tied, the first one to hit the number is lynched
• You may vote no lynch.
• After the day, the game goes to night.
• The game thread is closed during the night. The mafia may speak to each other at night.
• All active roles may submit actions via PM at night.
• The mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at night.
• After the night, the game goes to day.
• All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
• Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
• The game is won when only one faction remains in the game.
• Mass role-claiming is not allowed, but you may reveal your role if you have something interesting to share.
• You may pm me questions or ask them in the game thread but you may not get an answer to some things.
• When voting, please enter your vote on a separate line of your post so that it isn't easily missed.
• Mafia has day talk
• Night Actions will be completed in the order received
• While there is no active participation rule, I reserve the right to replace a player after missing a full day and night worth in game time.

The not being able to unvote is interesting. I think it will play a HUGE factor in later days rather than today. Imagine having to role claim due to being on a wagon and people cant remove their vote.

I think this will have to force us to rethink our playstyles.

@Jazzy - Does this rule mean that you can't unvote at all once you have placed a vote on a given day? Or does it mean that you can't edit a post which you voted in?

 

If this means that you cannot unvote AT ALL on a given day, we need to make sure that people aren't placing lulz votes.

 

I also want to point out one other rule:

 

 

Night Actions will be completed in the order received

 

This means that night actions will not all happen at the same time. In other words, we need to make sure that all town power roles are diligent in placing their night actions early during night phases so that they actually get them in before potentially missing out because the mafia used their actions first.

How does this work with role blocking?

 

Lets say Player A submits an action, then Player B roleblocks player A.  would player A's action go thru or would it be roleblocked?

We need to have that clarified for sure but the way the rule reads it tells me that player A's action WILL still go through. That is why we need to make sure that our power roles submit night actions early to make sure they actually get to use their actions.

the only issue with that could be time zones.  if someone lives several time zones away, night might begin while they are sleeping and they could get screwed out of their action.  TBH i dont think that is very fair
