This is absolutely the worst way for any of these idiots to serve up election results. Again, they take the simple task of counting, and turn it into a scandal. No one on the losing side will trust the outcome of this election now... nobody.

When I went to sleep, Trump was ahead with a comfortable lead in Michigan. I wake up a few hours later, and it's flipped. I investigate into what the hell happened, and it's the same old song and dance... over 138,000 Biden votes magically appear, and are added to the totals, with not a single Trump vote within the ballot dump... and then Twitter starts their bullshit over people saying something about it.

It's the incredibly convoluted voting system coupled with the fact - which always boggles my mind - that the US has no standardized national citizen ID system.

 

- Some people have Passports, some do not.

- Some people have Driver's Licenses, some do not

- Some people have a Social Security numbers, some do not, etc, etc.

 

I mean damn, just issue a number to your citizens at birth, and that's it. People who have an ID number are citizens and can identify themselves as such, and those that do not have one, are not citizens!

This happens in Pakistan. Our birth  certificate no. becomes our National ID card no. when we get 18 yrs old. Also your explanation still doesnt answer the laziness of these election staffs. They're leeching off of govt. funds and slothing around.

Blame the state law for that. Mail in votes are counted AFTER election day votes so....

This is the fault of Steve Sisolak and the insane Democrats that willy-nilly sent out mail-in ballots to everyone in the state. Never has Nevada entertained the concept of a mail-in election. They sent out a bagillion ballots to names and addresses for people that no longer live here. Plus we have early voting. Plus we have in-person voting on election day. I had to poke a button to declare I was not voting twice... when they have no way to determine if it's true. There will be litigation coming in Nevada.

There will likely be a recount so we'll see what happens.  That being said, I'm not really surprised or shocked Trump suddenly started to lose in these states.  Just the opposite happened most of the early evening, just the other way around.

 

Early on Biden was actually leading in states like Texas and Ohio and making what seemed like a run at Florida.  I was watching CNN at the time (Mostly because i side more conservative than liberal so I like to watch how the side I side with least spins things) and they were really excited...numbers were up for Biden, he had at times large leads and was outperforming Clinton in many of these areas.  Then one of them actually put this into perspective and said well the early numbers in were mostly consisted of early votes that would benefit Biden.  They knew Republicans are more likely in person voters whose votes were just coming in and it would like boost him.  Then as the next hour or two progressed, Trump gained on the lead, and eventually overtook Biden and won the state and not even relatively close.

 

The same thing is happening in the likes of Wisconsin and these other swing states, just the opposite.  Now you got Trump up early and leading when I went to bed, but now you start having Biden catching up and overtaking when they start doing absentee ballots and early votes, etc that normally benefit Democrats.  

 

We'll see what happens, it will likely be heavily fought no matter who wins because of how close things are.  I'm not jumping on the conspiracy theories just yet.  I'm a very skeptical guy, but I don't just jump on things without much proof.  Sidenote as well, i didn't vote for either of these terrible candidates.

I been watching the numbers all day via my phone at work.  Wisconsin/Michigan were at like 95% votes recorded like all day.  Wisconsin is now called, and i just looked at Michigan and it's showing 99% of the vote with Trump down by 38,000 votes...so is that being called soon?

 

I also looked at Nevada...they been at 67% all day, and now it's saying 75% of the vote is counted but the numbers havent changed..Trump is still down 8k votes.

A recount is not gonna change 30,000 votes... so the recount in Wisconsin is just a routine Hail-Mary. I don't see enough outstanding votes in Michigan to counter the votes coming out of Detroit. So right now I believe Trump will lose this election 270-268. There has been wild speculation that SCOTUS will intercede and give Trump reelection. This won't happen... none of those 9 Justices want to choose who the President will be.

 

This will not give Joe Biden a mandate... what it will do is give him a new residence for a while.

 

Now, I have made no secret that I wanted Amy Barrett on the SC. I would have sacrificed the President, plus 10 Senators, to get her butt in that chair... so I was well prepared for a major loss. A major loss we did not receive. Republicans will keep majority control of the Senate. This means that every single thing that Kamala Harris wants to do, will not happen.

 

There will be no Green New Deal. No Medicare for all. No free college. No repeal of the Trump tax cuts. No $15 dollar Federal minimum wage. No taxpayer funded abortions. No activist Judges. No Court Packing... and no anything she wants.

 

I say Kamala Harris because Progressives don't care about Joe Biden... they care about the office. They never wanted Joe Biden. Anyone paying attention knows quite well that there is a corruption scandal hanging all over Joe Biden involving him, and his family. The Progressives will throw Joe to the Jackals as soon as it's convenient. Joe won't go through an Impeachment... he will quietly resign, and Kamala will become President. She will never be able to do any damage whatsoever as long as Mitch McConnell is playing Goalie.

They will only take up a case if it involves a Constitutional ruling that needs their help. They have a lifetime tenure... so they are well above owing anyone any favors. Too many idiots continue to claim the SCOTUS did GW Bush a favor back in 2000... they were firmly following the Constitution with their ruling. Elections are largely managed by the States... they really like to keep it that way, and not get involved in the politics.

A tad disappointed it looks like Biden will win. I enjoyed Trump giving it to some of the stagnant or corrupt establishments. Just a tad though, because Trump and his cronies seem and surely are corrupt in their own ways, not to mention Trump could be erratic, egotistical, saying dumb things in all that. I thought Arizona would stay with Trump for the singular issue of protecting the Second Amendment. I know how much they don't like him. When Trump was elected, Arizona had 2 solid Republican Senators. They just happened to both be in the Never Trump camp, therefore they both screwed Trump over every chance they got. This antagonized Trump so bad he went to war with them. Now we don't have any Republican Senators in Arizona. I think they should have just agreed to disagree... like Romney and Sasse. It would have been a smarter move in the long run.

 

It's time to allow the votes to come in, and accept the loss. Just admit we came up short this time, and move on. We can't call Democrats a bunch of snowflakes that can't accept a loss, and then not accept a loss. I'm kind of looking forward to normal again. Watch how fast the pandemic scare tactics are wiped from the media when suddenly it's on them from now on.

Well I guess you can say that... but it sounds like CNN opinion spin to me. I voted for John McCain, and he lost because the entire Real Estate market crashed 3 weeks before the election... under the watch of George W. Bush.

 

John McCain ran for reelection to the Senate on repealing Obamacare... and then was the deciding vote to kill the repeal. He was a traitor to everyone who voted for him. The very definition of RINO. I don't believe for a second that Republicans would vote in favor of a Socialist government because of Cindy McCain. Republicans in Arizona abandoned McCain and Flake, which left a power vacuum that was immediately filled by well organized Democrats. Arizona has turned into a blue state... just like my Nevada. Too much California influence, plain and simple. Trump demonstrated why we were wrong to support McCain and Romney.

What is going on in Nevada right now is futile. They have the entire country looking here. I live in Clark County, and you're not gonna find thousands of unanswered Trump votes here. If they can make a case that the mail-in voting is a sham... which it is... that could make a difference, but the state decides how to run their election, and without hard evidence to make it a constitutional violation, nothing will change.

 

Everyone is focused on the wrong place. Election stealing is happening in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina.

Steve Sisolak, the Governor of Nevada, is a giant ass... he just wants to be the last state to beat Trump.

It's not my fault... I voted for Adam Laxalt.
