  1. Part 6? I was getting into this.
  2. While I don't agree with a $15 minimum wage, I've been under the assumption that these fast food places will still have employees to cook the food and clean the restaurant, as well as the drive-thru. I can see how the kiosk would eliminate the cashier, but I haven't really figured out how these places are going to rid themselves of other workers.
  3. Tactical Performance from Academy with Dr. Scholl's padding on the bottom. Used to work 12 hour shifts in a factory and those never hurt my feet.
  4. My feelings towards him are mixed. He is an outstanding player, by far. You can't deny that part. In my opinion, He is the Derek Jeter of the NBA. An outstanding off-the-court person with remarkable skills on-the-court. I just feel he is too over-hyped. Jeter is by far my favorite baseball player, but even with him, he was fairly over-hyped as well. When every sports article is about Steph Curry or Golden State, day after day, week after week, all season, it makes you kind of get sick of hearing about it. At that note, the sport news way of handling Curry isn't Curry's fault, so to me he is still an outstanding player. I just wish ESPN and others would jump off the bandwagon every once in a while for a different subject.
  5. I'll replace, if thats allowed with me already being killed and what not
  6. If it is making a sound in the house, sleeping in the kitchen in the same house isn't very wise. Might not be a zombie, but better safe than sorry.
  7. Shotguns spray, fairly hard to miss even without proper training or practice. Might fall on your ass though. I'd use the shotgun. You'll need all the food you can save. Only issue would be would the noise attract more zombies? Shotgun
  8. Just long enough to still be warm.
  9. If either of these are an option: None, if that isn't possble, all four. Either let the thing or noise alone and just be quiet, or go as a group (strength in numbers). If I can't do those, I'd say close friend. Family has more reason to keep each other alive later on, in the event the noise is a zombie. Could just be a pet that snuck in.
  10. I might've overstepped my knowledge there some. I am still rather new to Mafia.. but I do think 20% if pretty common, balanced by town having weaker powers. And I would think normally, you wouldn't want Mafia to be able to vote on their own without any town help.. but yeah, guess I could be wrong about it. I believe the goal is to find out who is scum and lynch them with the 10 votes. I mean, it'd make sense. If there are 5 scum and 14 town, 10 of the town lynch 1 scum before the deadline, the scum can't pile on townies during the day as they'd lose a vote and have the rely on night time.
  11. I wouldn't rescue the girl. Call me evil but if it were a zombie apocalypse, the rules of war would apply. Innocent people die, nothing you can do. My first concern is my son and myself, this little girl is nothing but extra weight in my opinion.
  12. Corn can't have children. Why did I revive a dead thread?
  13. How dos the cop role give out information they received without the Mafia tar-getting them? Wouldn't the cop store the information, hoping to build up the list and skip the lynch until they have gathered enough names? I think after the cop comes out the 1st time, it'd be a huge red target on their back. This isn't really relevant to any of the discussions, just curious as I've thought about this and my only other idea is a protection role protecting the cop for another night, but that would require the protection role actually helping and who knows how long that'll last?
  14. Good point, except that you're biased and nitpicking If you actually read the posts since day 2, Mandarijn and Rafay(and perhaps some other) has dropped hint that they too have a power Second, I might as well be a vanilla/weak role that did that to throw off scum to target me instead of the cop. The possibility is endless So letting scum know I have a Cop Role would be a bad idea?
  15. I agree something needs to move forward on D2. We can't have D3 going just like D1 and D2 have been. Vote: Kaziocore
  16. Least I can enjoy a big mac while the town riots Maybe they should work on getting my order correct the first time before they start jumping the gun on that.
  17. Background INFO: So, this all happened within roughly a timeframe of ~4hours ago to ~30minutes ago. I live in a part of Texas that for years has been fairly empty. We have a college city (3 colleges) next to us, a highway within 15minutes that goes straight to Dallas, and one of the nicest areas in Texas imo just about 10minutes down the road. However, our area had been nothing but 3 neighborhoods of maybe 2000 people and ranches. Hell, we just got a McDonalds a few months ago. Well, the area has boomed up in the past year. Wal-Mart, Starbucks, McDonalds, 3 Subways, they're building a movie theatre, a Target, a Kroger, and two apartment complexes. All within a 5minute drive. They're also building a high school out here. Now, for the funny story I'd like to share. Over where they're building the Kroger, our town has maybe two ISPs. Suddenlink (which the majority have) and Verizon, which just came in a little bit ago. Suddenlink had a fiber optic cable they needed to move from where it was currently located to a place closer to the street, which they told the contractors they'd be able to do in 3 weeks. The contractors don't have 3 weeks to wait so they sliced the wire, cutting everyone's internet off for about 3-4hours, and forced Suddenlink to go over there. This is all second hand information, but I was pissed about the internet til I learned this was why. I honestly just started cracking up and don't know how to describe that. Just thought I'd share. TL;DR - Contractors sliced ISP Fiber Optic Cable because the company wouldn't come out.
  18. I hate to admit it, but yes, I scrolled through the thread making a tally mark for each post. Somehow I'm not buyin that. Now that I've read some... Imran you have me very much suspecting you. You go from lynching someone day 1 to no lynch, you make accusations on people based on previous/other mafia games. Seems rather scummy to me. VOTE: Imran Eshan You people are coming one by one to take a hit at Imran. I'm got worried that I've missed something so I went again, from the beginning. Finster you're repeating Avater's, Rhizo's and Shah's argument about D1 lynching. Why is D1 having so much importance to you? Still you're right about talking about previous mafia games. Here's the list of post I've found: #137 - Samus - mentioning previous games #141 - iSoc - mentioning previous games #256 - Imran - though he's mentioning previous games it's not actually and accusation but a cheapshot (which I hated and it was the cause of my rant some posts later when subject of previous games returned). #279 - Shah - mentioning previous games (by referring to Samus) #286 - Imran - mentioning previous games #287 - Shah - mentioning previous games as a retaliation to Imran's post so it can't be counted against him. But that's not enough to make Imran a scum. I won't say he's townie for sure, but now that I went through the whole topic again there are some details that may suggest that. Why do I think so? Because he's natural, arrogant at times...he's not restraining himself or trying to pose as someone he's not. Maybe he's a good actor, or maybe he's just being himself because he's nothing to fear. - He didn't bother to go with the flow when people mass voted "no lynch" on D1. - post #225 - a little bit of mockery and no fake sadness after Samus death. - His general behavior and activity putting him into a spotlight. Maybe Imran's a scum, maybe he's not, but at this point in my eyes he's doing town's job, because he's sparking activity. He's not latching into someone's else opinions, he's provoking discussions on his own. Now moving onto other players, what I don't like is: 1. Avater's backing out of accusation. Might be a rookie scum, might be a rookie townie, but is suspicious none the less. 2. Avater, Rhizo, Shah jumping at Imran with the same arguments again and again. 3. Shah's lies (I've mentioned it already in the previous posts) and the fact he disappeared when called on them while still being active on the forums more things I don't like: 4. Shah disappears, Finster appears and he's not concerned with other issues here. He's gunning straight at Imran with the same arguments as the rest. 5. I wouldn't notice that and give it no weight, but now post #226 by Finster looks like he's trying to much to look sad. 6. Finster and Shah tend to give a lot of meaning to D1 actions...so here you go, a cherry on top: post #55 It's all, how would you call it...a circumstantial evidence and I might be wrong...though I could cite Shah here, from his post #279 when he was lying about me: "Those saying there isn't enough info, this is exactly the kind of quality of info available early on, sorry but no one is going to come out and blurt it out and lay it down for everyone." Anyway I hope to see what the rest of you think about it. So far, because Shah run away when challenged about his lies: Unvote Vote: Shahenshah Maybe that will encourage him to come back and talk with us. This is where my issue comes into place. There is no hard evidence Imran is scum, just behaviors that make you feel that it seems that way. Maybe since I'm new and havent learned his personality and attitude yet it just comes off as scum, but bringing up the point of him disagreeing with people constantly and sparking activity isn't something I thought of. I don't see how a scum would argue with everyone as it basically is just putting a huge target on his back because people will have some disagreement with him and choose to get rid of him. If that makes any sense. While I have my suspicions, Imran is looking more and more townie as this goes on. I would've voted Shah but since RL issues, explains his absence. At this point, I don't see enough evidence towards anyone active that would incite me to lynch.
  19. I think I'd just laugh. As a male with a full beard, I'd think the person would have to be a special kinda stupid. But seriously, I don't think I'd be offended, more caught off guard.
