Then, suddenly a little bitty baby pimp with sunburns appeared out of nowhere!
How could a baby have sideburns and have a profession that is illegal?
Lorikz Kain was so surpised and shocked that he immediately had a heart attack.
Examining his body reveals that he was Soichiro Yagami, a member of the Japanese police force.

Why would the scum want Lorikz Kain dead?

Xarastier had a vote on him but that's too easy for a frame by the scum.

I was invited into two different night-talk threads and believe they were all townies so my list of scum suspects has narrowed.

In one thread, it was suggested that the scum need a role name to use a death note.
Just to be safe, I would encourage everyone to keep their name as private as possible.

I also think more effective scum-hunting will happen in the night-talk threads than normal day-time discussion.

However, I can be persuaded to lynch because maybe somebody learned something from their night-talk thread.

I would also agree that no one should reveal their real name. According to Death Note, the killer must write the victims name down in a book in order for them to die. I'm just leaving for work, will post more later.

1. since there were no real voting going on yesterday, i don't think the bad guys actually had a reason to kill LK. except if what you're saying is right and they only had his name, though it would have been a bit hard seeing it was the first night and all.

2. 2 different night discussion threads means you probably know who 2 townies are or at least that you can communicate with them. it also means people must kind'a like you to add you as the first one to their discussion threads... lucky bastard

3. i read a bit the wiki of death note. LK died indeed cause of a death note not a serial killer since the cause of death is heart attack. the one who writes the name must picture the face of the one he wants to kill in the first 40secs if i remember correctly and the cause of death in the next 6min40secs or the cause of death will be heart attack.

4. says there that LK was a member of the police. it's possible we might have lost a power role maybe?

The "bad guys" have one - and only one - reason to kill which is to deplete us townies no matter who we are & win. We ourselves also have one - and only one - reason to hang mafiascum, and that is also to stay alive and win. No matter what is said here, a vote to hang is at best an informed or uninformed guess. I too have read a bit the wiki, and according to it the most important strategy is to stick to your initial or original "guess" until proven the next night or day otherwise. Cmon townies. You know who you are.

Get with this game and vote. We only need 8.

xarastier, i was just saying that some options are better than others. and i agree with chaplain, why would you kill the one who has probably access to the biggest ammount of information among all of us?

Lorikz Kain was Soichiro Yagami...that name rings a bell. If my memory is correct, wasn't he a big wig in the police force or something in Death Note? Been so long since I watched the anime =S
I think the question we need to figure out is...was this a random killing or was this a surgical strike? we are at a significant disadvantage if we just lost our cop >_<

I kind of agree with KevinH. At this point we have no useful information to positively id any scum. We already lost one power role, hopefully there are few others who will get to work on the nights. There's no point randomly lynching another guy and find out he was another townie power role. But I wouldnt mind lynching the inactive guys.

I'm not sure, but I feel it is worth the risk to trust them. I told them about each other but not their role names.

Ive never seen a day kill before, this is a weird game. I don't know what to think about not lynching like Kevin suggests. If he is in 2 circles that would be at least 5 people total. If they were all townies that could be a big advantage for scum hunting. The bad part about it is that we have no guarantee that they are all townies. Also, another no -lynch will not give us anymore information once tomorrow comes around. Analyzing votes and the discussion that comes with it is a townies best chance at finding scum.
