Sorry I haven't been saying much, its my finals week and so I have enough time to read through the posts, just not think through things very hard. I'm done with exams by Friday, and so I'll have some more engaging input then

On another note,
The reason that KevinH wasn't killed. If you read what he posted, the deathnote holder has to know a player's role name, which means either investigating them or if the player role claims and lists their role name. So I believe the deathnote holders have an investigation ability which allows them to discover someones role name. They had no reason to use that investigation in paticular on KevinH till this today, and haven't gotten the chance yet. There is a high chance that KevinH will die during the night, since they may wish to investigate him and kill him, but, who knows, as he said killing him won't accomplish anything. So I stand by my belief for the moment that KevinH is a townie.

the only way i see this name thing makes sense is if there is a power role the scum has to find out names during the night and kill during the day. i mean, i don't think the investigation will get results until the end of the night. then again i could be wrong. it makes no sense to write down just the names in the death notes because then you just have to go for the main good characters (although i have no idea who they are).

When you get invited into a thread, you learn the role name. Scum could discover names like that.

If I get deat-noted (new verb!), it will let another townie with a power role play on.

If enough people believe in my towniness, then the scum will want to kill me eventually since they will run out of other candidates to lynch in the name of scum-hunting.

1.time to explain myself i began the moving process as i said 3 weeks ago and im still trying to get settled in so that explains that.
2. seems were all wanting to lynch xarastier i'm not going to lynch yes, need to fully catch up on what is going on.
3. seems slightly early to lynch right now since as far as i know no information was gotten from D1
4. i also seem to remember xar being new to the game and all of us being new to the way this particular version of mafia.
5 i ask that we take four into account when making any decisions in this

Xar is not getting my vote. He seems to me as an eager townie ready to lynch the first thing that moves. If anything I would feel kore comfortable lynching a non active.

wow things have quieted down a bit. Unfortunately there has been little discussion so I don't think tomorrow will bring anything new to the table. What do you guys think?

I think there is more going on during the nights than we (or at least I) know.

If people can raise or lower their suspicions based on night activities rather than daytime thread posts, so much the better.

I wrote a long post and then crappy forums crashed and it didnt post.

So anyway, since we have no clear suspects at this time and Xarastier is acting scummy:

He is following is own track and I doubt he will be helpful to the townies even if he turns out to be a townie as he doesnt seem to be listening to any arguments and counterarguments before deciding on a lynch target. Plus if its acting like a fish and smells like a fish, its a fish.

I also believe we need to lynch today because we already lost two townies and the scum seem to have the ability to day kill. No lynching is not an option when the scum can do two kills per dey/night.

I am a little reluctant to lynch anyone atm. We have already lost a couple of what seem like cop roles and lynching without any evidence might cost us another major power role. I agree that xarastier's playing style is different from what most of us are accostomed to but he seems more like a enthusiastic townie vs a scum to me.
