Meh... the USA is currently leaderless. Governors are filling the void... some better than others.

 

I recently saw a comic of Uncle Sam sitting on Santa's lap when he asks "What do you want for Christmas?"

Uncle Sam responds with... "I'll settle for $1.79 gas and some mean tweets"

 

It's the only time I can think of in history that the USA has a lame duck president in his very first year in office.

Presidents do not pass bills. Presidents can only sign bills into law, or veto. Somehow you must believe that Senate Democrats using Reconciliation to force trillions of dollars of spending on pet projects, as a win. If that were the case, Joe Biden would not have a dismal 40% approval rating. Infrastructure spending is needed in the USA... we strongly disagree on what to spend it on.

 

So far, they have failed to get enough support to do the same with their massive Communist spending bill... but they are desperate to do something before the midterms. They would have better success if they told the truth, cast their votes, and summarily resigned.

 

Donald Trump had the USA totally firing on all cylinders. He did it with minimal political support, and under the worst possible environment. In a few short months, Joe Biden has allowed the country to destroy itself, in every possible way.

Firing on all cylinders on the Obama coattails right into a stagnation. And if you think the economical downturn and gas pricing is Biden's fault, I'd like you to pinpoint exactly where it is Biden's fault. Heck Biden is even selling some strategic stock to try and combat rising prices!

 

No wait, he did have some actions, like massive tax breaks (temporary for the poor and middle class, eternal for the rich) which added more debt then anything Biden is doing. Also all those regulations he got scrapped, the ones keeping corporations from pilliging not only the countryside but also the population residing in it. yeah, very big milestones by the guy who's only claim to fame about repealing Obama's legacy is by stacking empty folders on a table >_> Atleast Trump's Infrastructure bill will be revealed in 2 weeks^TM.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is to protect the USA from a gas shortage. There is no shortage. Using the SPR to cause a temporary fluctuation in market price is misappropriation, and signals a massive shortage of intelligence. Trump had the USA energy independent, and Joe Biden destroyed it on his first day in office. Don't get me wrong... I'm overjoyed that he crashed so fast.

Nah he just oversaw a large tax decrease on the corporations which made them do stock-buybacks, true trickle down economics!

 

Supply & Demand hasn't made its way into US curriculum? Why you think the price of oil is high? Besides Saudi's wanting to be even more filfthy rich. No wait thats Capitalism at work, you should be honoured to be squeezed out of those $$ to enrich the oil barons.

Also Venezuela got hammered by trade restrictions and OPEC screwing up their oil export $$. That and being dictatorial doesn't help.

That's what happens with Socialism. I'm still waiting for those trade restrictions on China, but big tech gets in the way. Slave labor makes cheap products, and the USA is addicted to cheap products. Something will happen eventually.

I would rather see "Buy American, Hire American". With robotics and more jobs turning to automation, I see a very bleak future. Combine that with open borders and unbridled social services, and it will soon make the USA a very horrible place to live.

There was some good news today. The BBC bill, better known as Build Back Communist, was effectively killed with a declaration from West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin... that he cannot, and will not, vote in favor of the multi-trillion dollar, USA killing trainwreck.

 

Many Progressives are currently hyper-ventilating and losing their minds. They can't believe that they have been cock-blocked from destroying the country with a simple 51% vote... by a Democrat. They should take note that West Virginia went for Trump by like 70%, and Manchin represents his state. So, stick a fork in that turkey... it's done. Mid-terms next year, and nothing big will happen.

 

John McCain did this before he died, and he was hailed a hero. Unfortunately, our media won't do the same for Senator Manchin.

The responsibility of investing in child care is called parents. I did it 4 times, and I had to make do with a standard child tax deduction. It's a typical Progressive tactic to hold out a candy while hiding the knife. If you want to talk about destroying by investing in children... I give you the public school system. The last people I would trust my children with are Progressives.

Coal will be used to supply energy for as long as it's cheaper. Progressives don't care about coal miners, or the people of West Virginia. They don't care if they die, and they don't care if they live. To them, it's fly over country. Just tell them to learn how to code.

 

I guess you don't have any use for coal in Belgium.
