You would have loved the older Battlefield titles then. BF1942, BF2, Bad Company. Sadly, BF4 doesn't even come close to how good the series used to be. BF1942 and BF2 had some of the best modding communities. WW1 mods, WW2 mods, Vietnam Mods, Modern Combat Mods, and even Star Wars Mods. You can even find servers where people still actively play. Its a bit disappointing to see where EA has taken Battlefield today. To me, BF4 just felt like a generic arcade shooter. As steep of a learning curve these games have, I prefer playing Red Orchestra, Arma, and Insurgency. The gameplay offered is way more indepth but they can be unforgiving on newer players. You add people by one of their character names, not their account name. Hence I made a lvl 1 character that I don't touch called "Aenir" just to reserve it. So, need your character's name bud.
